Steal
That Celeb Look (cont)
Separate
Yourself From The Rest
You are entitled to ONE
main element in every look in your wedding. For example, I love this
idea of wearing a dangling, big piece of crystal snowflake earrings. I
would definitely want to pin my hair up to flaunt my earrings. If
I add-on a veil and a tiara, it would be too overwhelming, much like
Christina's headgear here.
So snowflake crystal
earring is my main element. Everything else must be subtle and geared
towards this element. If my snowflake crystals are purple in color then
i will complement that with purple pearl beads on my gown. Dare to be
different.
Dramatize
It
Simple Elegance allows
for
dramatization, too. The point here is to add simple things, such as an
organza train, but leave out elaborate details such as layering of the
train with sequins and pearls.
Gloves are cheap
and great in adding
elegance and dramatization to your wedding ensemble. Fishnet and lacey
gloves will be too gaudy but long white satin gloves on the other
hands, transform a simple tube dress into a high-end gown.
A light veil attached to
the back of
a bun is simply classy. Try not to have organza train and veil at the
same time or you'll look too heavy.
If there's one thing you
want to
dramatize in-line with Simple Elegance makeup, it's your eyes. Do
yourself a favor by getting a 3 months semi-permanent eyelash extension
that will make you look like a doll without mascara. Otherwise, take
the cheaper and slightly more difficult way of using a fake glue-on
eyelash. Combo this with smoky eyes for evening reception for even more
emphasis.
Accesorize
No glam brides can do
without their accessories.
The hottest accessories
to achieve
Simple Elegance right now are pearls and swarowski crystal in white
gold setting. Well, if your budget allows it, diamond is still a girl's
best friend. High quality man-made diamonds are also great and
indistinguishable from the real thing.
