Wedding Grooming
Look into these 6 months
before your wedding day:
1. List down your problem areas that you want to target. Say if you
have wide hips you may need to slim down but in mose cases, the right
wedding gown can conceal this flaw.
2. List down all your asset you want to flaunt. Don't think that you
don't have to do anything about your good qualities. These are the
things you want to show off so you still have to work on it.
3. Start with your hair. Too frizzy? Or you need to grow it to a
certain length before your wedding? This assessment will give you the
time to select your styles of the day and work towards them. If you
have dry hair, then start treating your hair now. Want to try short
fringe but dread that they will turn out bad? Take this time to
experiment and improvise.
4. Next, your skin. Do you have acne? Enlarged pores? If you have too
much on your hands in preparing for your wedding, it is good to take a
break and pamper yourself at a beauty parlour. If you want to go for
something major like microdermabrasion, do it now rather than 1 week
before the wedding as you can have post peeling and redness.
5. Look at your skin condition on other parts of your body. Do you have
back acne? Or dry skin on your neck and cleavage area? Looking after
them now will ensure they look picture perfect later.
6. Watch your weight. You have to love yourself for who you are but it
won't harm to trim that tummy or get a toner and tighter body. Don't
kill yourself with dangerous drugs and crash diets, just follow
sensible eating advise like the calorie shifting method and doing
regular body-targeted exercises. Say if you need to give your breasts a
lift then do pectoral toning exercise.
7. Don't forget to remove unwanted hair.
8. You are going to be smiling and laughing a lot during this time so
it pays to have your teeth whiten at a dentist's office or buy a DIY
home kit.
