#3 : Play Up The Party Mood With Balloons
What do you think of
when you see balloons? A celebration! Standard balloons are cheap and
so versatile you can create many kinds of decor with them. Tie them
together in strings and combining two or more strings to create an arch
for the couple to enter the scene. You'll need an arch frame for this.

Otherwise, combine this
and some fabrics to decorate the ceiling, walls or the stage. If you
have a little money to spare, consider getting some hellium balloons
that floats. Tie a train of ribbon to each of the balloons and simple
release it to touch the ceiling. Arrange the balloons along the
entrance path of the bride and groom so the ribbons will form a stretch
to dramaticise the entrance.
If you are having
relatively stark decor for outdoor reception, tie a floating balloon
behind each chair with a piece of ribbon. This idea is simple but grand
but it may work out to be expensive if you have tons of guests.
Idea #4 : Make A
Unique Centerpiece
A centerpiece is
something you place
on the center of each table, serving as a decor and the natural topic
of conversation for your guests. Combining a flower ball and a handful
of floating balloons is grand but will cost you quite a bit of money.
Flower is the main choice for centerpieces but let's explore other
alternatives that is cheap but is just as glamorous.
With just a stalk of
your chosen
flower on every table, you can turn them into memorable centerpieces.
Check with your hotel or restaurant to see if they have some nice
transparent vases that's tall and slim. Tall drinking glasses will do
too, provided you don't use the same type of glasses for drinking
purposes later.
Fill the bottom of the
glasses with
some cheap faux crystals and then place in your stalk of flower. If the
glass is not as high as stem of flower, cut it shorter. Then, fill up
the glasss or vases with lightly coloured liquid. You can opt for baby
blue, baby pink, or light purple but don't go for unpleasant colors
such as yellow, black or strong colors that may look dirty.

You see, the taller or
bigger your
vases are, the more grand your centerpieces will be. If you have no
choice but to use tall glasses, you might want to elevate it a little
with something sturdy on the bottom to gain more attention. Another
idea is to get your vases from dollar stores. Remember you can always
recycle these vases in your house decor so this is worth spending on.

#5 : Inject Some Romance With Candles
Get candles in different
width and
lengths and light them around your hall. Lighting has a profound effect
in people's moods. It can be romantic or grand or even sad, so know
what you are doing before you start.
Some cultures associate
white with
death, especially if your guests are made up of elders or superstitious
relatives. Combine the colors of your candles such as baby pink, purple
or cream to indicate romance. If you insist on using white candles
only, neutralize its 'death association' by tying a gold ribbon around
it.
