Affordable
Honeymoon Cruises
Want a great honeymoon
but don't want to break the bank or burst your
credit card limit? Consider joining a cruise. Sounds expensive? It
needn't be.The good news for you is that there is a wide array of
choices when it comes to European cruise packages, and at very
attractive prices. Just how cheap can you expect? It is not surprising
to pay less than $100 a day for a cruise to the Caribbean, if you know
where to hunt.
Expensive cruises are a thing of the past as more and more cruise ships
have been built. These new cruise ships are larger and can accomodate
more passengers as they have more number of rooms. Hence, cruise
tickets are no longer exclusive and quickly snapped up upon release
like they were 20 years ago.
Simply follow these tips and you will be on your way to planning a
great budget cruise honeymoon.
Tip #1: Choose a brand new
cruise ship. Most maiden voyages offer large discount rate. This
discounts aimed to have customers go frenzy and spread the news to
their family and friends. What better publicity to have than word of
mouth advertising to kick-start a new liner? They usually put up large
discounts to their first ever customers, and that, my friend, is you.
Tip #2: Try to book in
groups. You are likely to travel to places with friends, family
members, and colleagues. Booking in groups will make you save a lot.
For example, a group in a cruise totals to 16 persons who are to occupy
an approximate of eight cabins. At times, the cruise liner ships give
discounts per ticket or may either give the 16th ticket all for
free.
Tip #3: Become a loyal
customer. If you just can't get over a cruise travel and you
want to repeat the same experience over and over again, then you must
keep yourself updated with the repeat passenger programs offered by the
cruise liner. The discounts given often range between five percent up
to twenty percent. One good way to do this is to sign up for
their newsletter so you will be the first to know about their offers.
Tip #4: Go for their
promotion deals. Some of the common deals offered by the cruise
liners are free hotel accommodations. You may monitor these offers by
getting Internet updates from websites and newsletters.
Tip #5: Off season cruise.
Its no rocket science. You get big discounts during times when cruise
liners have difficuties filling up their rooms. Although this varies
from destinations to destinations, this usually happens at the
beginning of fall. Since you already know that prices will be cheap
this time of the year, booking way early will give you even better
options and discount.
Tips #6: Choose large
cruise companies. These are the companies that have many numbers
of cruise ships with many discounted tickets to choose from. Larger
companies are also not likely to compromise on the package you receive
even as discount price, unlike smaller companies.
Tip #7: Book way early or
last minute. Prices will be significantly lower as cruiseliners
want to fill up empty rooms left as the departure date closes in. It
will not be business savvy to sail with many empty rooms, so rooms will
be made available at a fraction of its original price. This is a good
move on their part to cover overheads such as fuel and salaries. Plus,
they will be happy to have more passengers as they can easily make a
profit with other services provided on board. It is truly a win-win
situation.
